The good, the bad ...

We had a good weekend. I think it is safe to say that Sarah is officially potty trained (other than a pull up at night). She even wears underwear for her nap. We are so proud of her!

The Cubs clinched! Enough said.

We are still rushing around to try and get ready for the the Chef's Auction. There are just a lot of last minute things we have to do. The auction is Thursday. I hope all of you who can come out and see us. It will be fun and for a good cause.

Just a friendly reminder - Wednesday is my birthday. I will be 21.

I also went to a bachelorette party this weekend (here is a picture of the bride from dinner - congratulations, Kami!). We went to Indianapolis and had dinner at Buca, and then went to a show at Crackers. It was lots of fun! Then we went next door to Tiki Bobs and drank too much. And something really weird happened that night - I ran into a girl that I went to school with in the third and fourth grade - how weird?? Now we are myspace friends.

Now for the bad ... my best friend called me this morning with some very sad news. Her grandma has been in the hospital since Wednesday and is probably not going to make it. It breaks my heart on so many levels. Kristi is pregnant with her first child, and I know she would give anything to make sure her grandmother could see her. Also, I have been best friends with Kristi for a long time and I think I can safely say I am considered part of her family - I know I consider them mine. I love her grandma as if she were my own. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
