Friday was a boring day. I went to work and then came home and just relaxed - for the first time in a long time. I can't begin to explain how busy we have been the past few weeks. It was nice to just lay around and then go to bed early.
Saturday started off on a sad note. Kristi's grandma passed away last Wednesday and Saturday was the funeral. It was a beautiful service to honor a beautiful lady. I am glad that I had the opportunity to know her. And more than that, I am honored that the Noggle/Burress family has allowed me to not only be their friend, but to be a part of their family. They are a large and close family and they may never know how blessed I feel to be a part of that. When you dont have much family of your own, you never take for granted being a part of what they have.
Saturday night was much lighter. Dan and Gail and Doug and Sandy joined Dave and I for my
birthday dinner at 88 Broadway. If you havent been, I highly reccomend it. We had fondue and a few drinks and enjoyed the show. Dave and Doug had fun before we even left - here is a picture of them. Sometimes I wonder ...
